These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Aelix Drone Specialists (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”).

By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

Our services consist of aerial visual inspection, documentation, mapping, and imaging services only.

Unless explicitly agreed in writing:

• No engineering assessment, certification, or compliance sign-off is provided

• No structural, electrical, or safety determinations are made

• No survey-grade outputs are supplied

All deliverables are provided for visual reference, planning, and documentation purposes only.

2. Nature of Inspections & Limitations

All inspections are:

• Non-intrusive

• Visual only

• Based on conditions visible at the time of capture

Not all defects, issues, or conditions may be visible due to:

• Weather

• Lighting

• Site access limitations

• Obstructions

• Resolution or perspective constraints

We do not guarantee identification of all defects or issues.

3. Use of Deliverables

All imagery, video, maps, and 3D models are provided for:

• Planning

• Documentation

• Communication

• Progress tracking

• Asset records

They must not be relied upon as:

• Engineering advice

• Survey data

• Safety certification

• Compliance verification

Any decisions made using our deliverables are made at your own discretion.

4. Accuracy & Mapping Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• Mapping outputs are not survey-grade

• Measurements are approximate

• 3D models and orthomosaics are visual representations only

Survey-grade accuracy requires additional equipment, controls, and written agreement.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Confirm authority to request aerial services at the site

• Ensure site access and permissions are in place

• Provide accurate site information

• Notify us of any site hazards or restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule services where safety or compliance cannot be assured.

6. Compliance & Flight Conditions

All flights are conducted in accordance with applicable aviation regulations.

Flights may be delayed, modified, or cancelled due to:

• Weather conditions

• Airspace restrictions

• Safety considerations

• Regulatory requirements

We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

7. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

• Payment is due as stated on the invoice

• Late payments may delay delivery of deliverables

• Deposits may be required for certain projects

Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply for late notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• We retain copyright of all imagery and deliverables

• You are granted a licence to use deliverables for their intended purpose

We reserve the right to use completed work for portfolio, marketing, or promotional purposes unless confidentiality is requested in writing prior to service delivery.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided

• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or third-party losses

This includes losses arising from decisions made using our deliverables.

10. Confidentiality

Client information and project materials will be handled confidentially unless disclosure is required by law or agreed otherwise.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

12. Acceptance

By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
